Alex Galper is responsible for sourcing, structuring and closing deals according to the Exigen Capital investment thesis in the financial services, media and healthcare sectors.

Prior to Exigen Capital, Alex founded a proprietary trading firm that he successfully exited to an S&P 500 company.

Earlier in his career, Alex accumulated 15 years of capital market experience. At Opus Fund, he held executive level positions managing proprietary trading desks and overseeing strategy, risk management and capital allocations. Previously, at Morgan Stanley and UBS Asset Management, while Alex’s primary focus was on equities, he also worked with mortgage-backed securities and fixed income asset classes.

Alex holds a Bachelors degree in International Relations from Syracuse University. He has Series 7, 55 and 63 licenses.
