Robert Sverbilov is an Associate at Exigen Capital, and has been with the firm since its inception. In this capacity, Robert sources and evaluates investment opportunities for the firm. Robert brings to Exigen Capital nearly 6 years of valuation, accounting, and IT consulting experience. Prior to joining Exigen Capital, Robert was a Manager at Frank, Rimerman & Co., in the assurance and advisory group. In this role, Robert helped pre-IPO high technology companies with their revenue recognition, equity accounting, M&A transactions, and financial due diligence. He worked closely with venture fund partners consulting with them on accounting, structuring, and valuation issues. Robert was instrumental in resolving a $5 million fraud investigation, a write-up of nearly $10 million for a venture fund portfolio, as well as establishing the methodology and framework for the firm’s practice for venture fund portfolio valuation. Prior to Frank, Rimerman & Co., Robert spent several years working as an IT Consultant in a broad spectrum of technology fields.

Robert is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a B.A. in Business Management Economics, with a focus in finance and accounting from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
