John Wong is a Senior Associate at Exigen Capital where he sources and evaluates investment opportunities for the firm. John brings to Exigen Capital nearly 10 years of investing and consulting experience. Prior to Exigen, John worked at GE Antares Capital where he was responsible for structuring and executing leverage loan and equity co-investment opportunities for private equity transactions. Previously, John worked at GE’s Energy Financial Services (EFS) where he managed GE’s equity investments in numerous gas-fired power plants, including facilitating the sale of a $200+ million facility. Prior to GE, John was an Associate at Fog City Capital, a private equity firm investing in middle market business services companies. While at Fog City, he was responsible for deal sourcing, industry and company due diligence, valuation analyses and other deal activities. Prior to Fog City, John was a Manager at Deloitte, providing consulting and risk management services to leading financial services firms. He began his career as an Analyst at the BARRA Strategic Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm specializing in the investment management industry.

John holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and has a BA in International Relations and Russian Studies from Tufts University.
